Take-home Ski Rentals $60/season

Arrowhead Nordic Ski Club Ski Rentals for Jackrabbit and Track Attack / Lynx program participants ONLY.

We provide season rentals of classic cross country ski sets. The charge is $60 for the season, and the kids have the skis – both at home and for the lessons – for the entire winter.

If you are planning to rent ski equipment for the season, there are fitting sessions at the club chalet in the Visitors Centre parking lot on Saturday, November 25 and Saturday, December 9 from 10-12.  You will need to fill out this form beforehand, so that your appointment is arranged ahead of time. THIS PROGRAM IS ONLY AVAILABLE TO REGISTERED PROGRAM PARTICIPANT!!!

Skis must be returned at the end of the season. Our goal is to provide affordable equipment – not to make a profit. This is an excellent price.

We also have a limited supply of skate ski sets which also rent out for $60.

If it is within your budget to purchase new or used equipment, this is always a good way to go as it is quickly resellable at a good price. Gear is always in demand.

Bunnyrabbit Program

(child must be 4 as of December 31 to participate) introduces children to skiing and develops their fundamental movement skills in a FUN way. It provides children with the opportunity to make ski-friends and helps them develop a positive attitude towards skiing and an awareness and appreciation of our natural environment. If your child is turning 4 during the winter season, and you want to discuss if it would be a good fit, please contact Ally Myers.

Jackrabbit Program

Children learn both classic and skating cross-country ski skills and develop a lifelong interest in the sport. Instruction focuses on the ABC’s Agility, Balance, Coordination and Speed in a FUN way with games, theme days and ski playgrounds. Good technique, distance and speed challenges are rewarded using the Jackrabbit program awards. For more info visit the Jackrabbits page of the Nordiq Canada website.
