Track Attack & Lynx

Due to lack of snow our start date has been delayed a week. Check Below for the new dates.

Track Attack

Track Attack is a three year program for ages 9-13 and is the final step of Cross Country Canada’s Skill Development Program. Participants should have completed Jackrabbits Level 4. Track Attack is a more in-depth program with winter lessons on Saturdays as well as a fall training camp, fun races, waxing clinics etc. Further developing skate and classic skills and technique, and providing knowledge of more far-reaching aspects of skiing, the track attack athlete will come away from the program confident in all aspects of the sport.

Take-home Ski Rentals $50/season

Arrowhead Nordic Ski Club Ski Rentals for Jackrabbit, Track Attack / Lynx, Para-Nordic and Special Olympics participants only.

We provide season rentals of classic cross country ski sets. The charge is $50 for the season, and the kids have the skis – both at home and for the lessons – for the entire winter.

If you are planning to rent ski equipment for the season, there are fitting sessions at the club chalet in the Visitors Centre parking lot on Saturday, November 25 and Saturday, December 9 from 10-12.  You will need to fill out this form beforehand, so that your appointment is arranged ahead of time.

Skis must be returned at the end of the season. Our goal is to provide affordable equipment – not to make a profit. This is an excellent price.

We also have a limited supply of skate ski sets which also rent out for $50.

If it is within your budget to purchase new or used equipment, this is always a good way to go as it is quickly resellable at a good price. Gear is always in demand.
