Step 1: Understand the programs, memberships and trail passes you are available/needed for your season.
Step 2: Choose the correct programs for you and your family
Step 3: Choose your desired registration method
Step 1: Understanding The Options
In general, participating in club programs and activities requires the particpant to have the following in place:
- Access to Arrowhead Provincial Park trails
- Club membership and waiver on file (for club insurance purposes)
- Program registration (if applicable)
For our Children’s Programs (Jackrabbit, Bunnyrabbit and Track Attack Lynx), all 3 aspects are covered in you club application: The club pays the park a user fee on behalf of the participant; the waiver and membership are completed as part of the registration (child membership included in program fee); and the program fee is paid.
For Youth Programs and Adult Programs (Track Attack, Arrowhead Race Centre, Adult Lessons), in addiiton to program registration, the participant must also obtain a Park Trail Pass from the park office. The reason for this is due to the higher number of sessions at the park.
All participants in Club Activities at the Park During Normal Park Hours require a Park Trail Pass from the park office.
Participants in Club Activities at the Park After Park Hours (night skiing, dryland training, etc.) do not require a Park Trail Pass.
Particpants in Club Events Such as the Muskoka Loppet and Elementary School Races do not require a Park Trail Pass as day-use permit price is built into the price.
Step 2: Selecting the Program for You and Your Family
Please refer to our Programs Page for more details about what we offer! Please note that we no longer offer family ANSC memberships as we must pay an insurance fee for each individual to Cross Country Canada (our governing body)
