JackRabbits (ages 6 – 9)

The JackRabbit Program has been designed to encourage FUN and participation. Sessions include instruction and games through which skiers will learn classic and skate skiing techniques. Focus is on skill and technique development while building fitness in a fun and supportive atmosphere. The Jackrabbit program has four levels with skiers first learning classic skiing in levels 1 and 2. In Level 3  skate skiing is introduced and is continued in level 4.

When you register online, please indicate the level your child is going into.  Please check your child’s report card that was handed out at the end of the year. Please note that some children spend more than one season in a level, so they do not automatically advance to the next level the following year.

Skiers who completed level 4 last year should register in Track Attack.

Goals of this program:

  • Encourage FUN and participation,
  • Develop ABC’s. Agility, Balance, Coordination and speed.
  • Utilize games and ski playgrounds to develop technique, speed skills and fitness.
